About

I am a Philosophy PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome, with an interest in fundamental questions about ethics, language, and the nature of philosophical inquiry.

Beyond philosophy, I like reading fiction, watching movies and TV series, eating, and playing games.

Areas of Interest:

  • Ethics and Moral Philosophy
  • Philosophy of Language
  • Philosophy of Mind
  • Wittgenstein
  • Early Analytic Philosophy

Research

My research focuses on Cora Diamond's contributions to contemporary moral philosophy, particularly her distinctive approach to ethics and her engagement with Wittgenstein's thought.

I am especially interested in Diamond's critique of theoretical approaches to ethics, her reflections on the nature of moral thought and understanding, and her resolute reading of Wittgenstein's Tractatus.

More broadly, my philosophical interests concern the possibilities and limits of philosophical inquiry, the relationship between ethics and language, and the ways in which philosophy can engage with literature and the arts.

Public Writings

I sometimes write about videogames on Substack, exploring this relatively new medium with philosophical tools.

"You could attach prices to thoughts. Some cost a lot, some a little. And how does one pay for thought? The Answer, I think, is: with courage."
